The journey, it encompasses all things tangible, intangible, emotional, physical. Perhaps its metaphysical, not necessarily capable of being seen or felt. This journey though will always be met with a port of call, a light, a destination. This destination isn't necessarily a location on a map but is sometimes channeled through an emotion or an ideal and takes root in a state of being or a consciousness. It is defined by the journey and moved along by purpose.  It pulls you in without pushing back. Right now, my destination is rooted in the idea that a healthier standard of living does exist. A world without AIDS can exist. My journey is this; Zambia, 1 year, 1 organization, 1 sport, 1 cause. I have chosen to dedicate one year of my life fighting for a people and against a disease because I believe that there exists a way out. There exists a healthier tomorrow. The way to get there; knowledge, inspiration, courage, sport.

Today begins my journey in Zambia. I have spent the last four days in the quiet town of Hanover, New Hampshire. It is in this town that GRS was born and it is here that my journey reckons from. These past few days are indescribable and I can only explain them in a single word, KILOS! Today, we depart for a new world. I am proud to work alongside such beautiful people and am excited for this new chapter we are writing.

Thank you to all of those who have provided support thus far. Your support is sustaining this dream and helping give the world hope for a better tomorrow. Please stay tuned for updates from Lusaka, Zambia. Here we GO!
